A great recipe when friends are visiting. The preparation can all be done hours in advance.

Ingredients:
- 10 oz. Lars’s Tomato Soup
- 2 cups water
- 1 Tbs Lars’s Cajun Blast Seasoning
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 cups raw potatoes, diced
- ½ cup raw rice
- 1 cup raw carrots, diced
- ½ cup raw onion, dice
- 1 Lbs ground beef
Procedure:
- Mix soup, water and Cajun Blast seasoning in medium bowl, set aside.
- Shred cheese, set aside in small bowl.
- On cutting board, dice vegetables, set each aside in small/medium bowls. Measure rice and set aside in small bowl.
- Break up ground beef in medium bowl and set aside.
- Spread layers of raw vegetables and rice in baking dish in the order listed above and crumble raw hamburger on the top. Use spatula to level and smooth out each layer.
- Evenly pour soup/water/seasoning mixture over everything, smoothing out with spatula as needed.
- Bake 1 ¾ hours at 350° F.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and return to oven for another 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbling.
Advanced Preparation:
- Steps 1-5 can be done in advance, covered and refrigerated till ready to bake.
Tips, Notes, and Variations:
- If you double the recipe, use a tall 9″ x 13″ baking dish and bake it a little longer.
