Ingredients:
- ½ tsp fresh garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, diced
- 1 small (5.5 – 8 oz.) can pineapple juice
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup rice wine vinegar
- ¼ cup Lars’s Ketchup
- ¼ tsp Lars’s Champagne Mustard Sauce
- 1 tsp Lars’s Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 ½ Tbs cornstarch
Procedure:
- On cutting board, dice and mince garlic and ginger. Transfer to medium saucepan.
- Measure cornstarch. Set aside in small bowl.
- Add all remaining ingredients, except cornstarch, to saucepan and whisk together.
- Transfer saucepan to stove and cook over medium-low heat for 15 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
- Add cornstarch and whisk until thickened.
- Strain into small bowl, removing garlic and ginger.
- Transfer to glass container, tightly seal and refrigerate till needed.
Advanced Preparation:
- This sauce is intended to be made in advance and refrigerated till needed.
