Instructions
  1. In medium pan over medium heat add syrup, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla extract. Stir constantly until it reaches a boil. Do not overcook.
  2. Reduce heat to low and add peanut butter cups and mini marshmallows. Stir until thoroughly blended together.
  3. Remove from heat and fold in raisins/craisins and nuts.
  4. In large bowl, add cornflakes then pour candied syrup mixture over corn flakes. Mix and fold until corn flakes are thoroughly coated. You can also mix thoroughly with buttered hands 🙂
  5. Transfer to a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan and press down lightly with large spoon or buttered hands.
  6. Allow to cool or refrigerate. When cool, cut into squares.
Recipe Notes

Advanced Preparation:

Everything can be done in advance, refrigerated and serve when ready.

Tips, Notes, and Variations:

  • If you don't have peanut butter cups you can substitute 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter and 1/4 cup semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate chips
  • Feel free to substitute other types of nuts for roasted peanuts i.e. walnuts, pecans, cashews, etc.
  • When I can find them I love substituting craisin for raisins.
